Georg Pöpsel is the Export Sales Manager at wissner-bosserhoff. With close to 20 years of experience in the industry he is leading the international expansion of the brand with a special focus on overseas activities. Since he started in the company in 2001, the global sales have multiplied and the former focus on European markets has changed to be a global player in nursing beds. Georg is holding a Master of Business Administration from the University of Applied Sience in Münster, Germany. During his studies with a special focus on International Management, he did some courses abroad at the Kristianstad University in Sweden. Working for close to 20 years in the ageing sector worldwide, he visited several hundred nursing homes from each continent. Thus, he was able to identify global trends in elderly care for the products. Being focused on continuously improving nursing home beds to the demands around the world, his knowledge is having a huge influence on the product development at wissner-bosserhoff. To enable as many dementia residents around the world to live the fullest life possible, is an intrinsic motivation for him. Having made own experiences with dementia in his family, the environment’, products’ and services’ influence on residents well-being, is his main focus.
